Hi, I'm Leigh!
I’m a New England–based designer and MassArt/Syracuse
alum working across brand identity, editorial, social, and
production design.
I’m drawn to work that feels thoughtful, tactile, and emotionally aware without trying too hard. I love design with personality;
the kind you remember later for some small detail you can’t
quite explain.
I’ve been designing professionally for nearly a decade, but outside
of client work I’m usually painting late at night, experimenting at
the letterpress, or collecting little visual things that catch my attention: color combinations, weird packaging, textures, overheard phrases, scraps, type on old signs… the list keeps growing.
I love the full creative process, both the strategic thinking part and the messy making part. I'm most at home when I get to do both.

I'm also a...
stationer,
My 9 to 5 is as a designer at a financial research firm, but my 5 to 9? I'm very much an artist. Stationery has been the perfect hobby for me to be both a designer and an artist at the same time.
I love making beautiful things and of course celebrating fun events. From letterpress, to painting, typesetting, wax seals, ribbons, I'm into all of it.
There's something so satisfying about being part of the whole process, from the first sketch to the final assembly. Every piece I work on gets a lot of love.
painter/illustrator,
I mostly paint with oils and watercolors, and lately I've been doing more plein air work (New England really gives you a lot to work with!). Water-based oils have also been a recent game changer.
In 2023, Netflix purchased one of my seascapes for The Perfect Couple, filmed in Massachusetts. The set-design obsessed kid in me really had a moment.
Pictured is one of my recent commissions of a friend's son at the beach.
& AIGA, Boston volunteer
I’ve volunteered with AIGA Boston for several years, mentoring emerging designers, moderating career panels (pictured is a shot from our 2026 Creating Opportunities panel), and now co-running the 5to9 Club—a monthly series for Boston’s creative community.
Supporting new designers as they find their footing, build their confidence, and change the trajectory of their careers is very rewarding and I'm proud to be involved with.

I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Leigh on Mother Dirt’s creative team since early 2021. Leigh is kind, patient, collaborative, and an extremely talented (and passionate) graphic designer and artist. With her attention to detail and organizational skills, Leigh approaches every project she works on with imagination, originality and a creative flair. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to call her a co-worker, a teammate and, most importantly, a friend!"
