While a freelancer for the New England Aquarium, I created a broad mix of print and digital assets across the organization. Projects included laying out multiple issues of the science-forward Right Whale newsletters, updating and designing visitor maps and facility signage, event branding and collateral, designing member communications, and creating kids' scavenger hunts and activities.

 

My favorite project to date (and my physically largest) was designing the updated Turtle Rescue panels now on display at the Turtle Rescue Hospital in Quincy, MA. These 7 ft tall panels showcase what happens when the turtle strand in the cold temperatures, and the work their amazing team does to bring them back to health.

The work left enough of an impression so now every fall and winter you'll find me on the shores of Cape Cod, volunteering to search for cold-stunned turtles in need of rescue.
