Hi, I'm Leigh!
I design identities and print work for brands that value clarity over noise and craft over shortcuts.
After nearly a decade in the field, I’ve learned that good design isn’t about showing off—it’s about making complex things feel obvious and intentional.
I’m especially drawn to branding systems and editorial layouts, and I care deeply about how ideas live in the real world, from paper stock to final delivery.
My goal is simple: make work that lasts, serves real people on both sides of the brief, and gives teams confidence in what they’re putting into the world.

tour guide,
Once upon a time, I gave tours at Syracuse University and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum—proof that I’ve always loved history and a good story. In 2018, that curiosity turned into a sold-out Airbnb Experience tour on the typography and signage of Boston’s North End.
The following year, I led a group of design students on a week in London, hopping between studios and creative workshops. It was a total whirlwind — and even sparked one of my favorite portfolio projects (below).

painter,
Outside of design, I’m a painter—working primarily in oil and watercolor, and lately pushing myself into doing more plein air land- and seascapes.
I take on freelance commissions ranging from fine art pieces to custom illustrations for wedding invitations.
In 2023, Netflix purchased one of my seascapes for the set of The Perfect Couple, filmed in Massachusetts—a genuine dream moment for the former set-design kid in me, and a reminder that making work for its own sake still opens unexpected doors.
& AIGA volunteer
I’ve volunteered with AIGA Boston for several years, mentoring emerging designers, moderating career panels, and now co-running the 5to9 Club—a monthly series for Boston’s creative community.
When I went back to school for design in 2015 I found AIGA early on, so giving back now feels full-circle. Supporting designers as they find their footing, build confidence, and change the trajectory of their careers is work I care about deeply—and one of the most rewarding parts of what I do
