Hi, I'm Leigh!
I’m a graphic designer with a sincere love for clarity, cohesion, and the kind of design that actually gets things done.
I’ve spent the past decade helping brands — big and small — connect with their audiences through thoughtful visuals, intentional strategy, and print pieces that make people pause (in a good way).
I’m especially drawn to branding systems, editorial layouts, and anything that needs to be both beautiful and functional.
Production and presentation matter to me — I like seeing things through to the final printed piece, the mailed invitation, the launched campaign.
What I bring to every project: a calm head, a collaborative spirit, and a sharp eye for what works. I’m not here to make the loudest thing in the room. I’m here to make the thing that lasts — and that helps people feel confident, seen, and understood.

Design hot take: "User-first’ often means ‘stakeholder-last.’”
It is becoming easy to forget that businesses are also users of design–and important ones! The most successful visual solutions serve both the audience and the team behind it.
Let’s make something great — and make it mean something, too.
I'm also a...
tour guide,
My days as a tour guide at Syracuse University and The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum are long over but I still love history and showing people around.
In 2018, I created a sold-out AirBnB Experience Tour covering the typography and signage in Boston's North End, and in 2019, I organized a networking trip to London for students in my design program for a week of studio tours and workshops with amazing UK creatives. It was a blast and inspired one of my last student portfolio projects, too (below).
painter,
Outside of design, painting has always been a big passion of mine. I love to paint in watercolor but a new challenge has been painting outdoors en plein air.
In 2023, a streaming giant purchased one of my seascapes for the set of a new series filming in Massachusetts. The set design kid in me was over the moon!
I can't wait to see if the piece made the literal cut in 2024 - but even if it doesn't, I still framed the contract...
& career changer
After graduating from college, I began my career in visitor services and marketing for art museums and non-profits which somehow evolved into email marketing for tech companies. However, my true passion was always visual design. After working closely with talented designers for several years, I pursued formal education to make that a reality for myself.

Below is one of my favorite student projects from my time at MassArt: an event rebrand of the annual Cambridge Science Festival (2019).
