During my time at Rapid7, I ran the social media design work for the company, in addition to laying out paid ads, photographing events, and making signage for event booths. The job was equal parts social strategy and design execution: turning dense cybersecurity content into graphics, ads, and campaigns that connected with audiences ranging from IT teams to the C-suite.

Within my first nine months, impressions climbed 18.4% and shares jumped 22.4%.

Beyond the day-to-day, I art directed animations, developed Canva templates and worked in Figma templates to help the non-designers across the company stay on-brand, and helped navigate an ongoing brand refresh in 2024. I also worked regularly on Bruins partnership campaigns, which, as a Boston native, was its own kind of fun.

Social Media Audit

One of my first moves at Rapid7 was getting a clear picture of the landscape. I conducted a visual audit covering competitor positioning, emerging social design trends, and our own channel performance, then used those findings to identify where we had room to grow.

From there I built out a scalable template system, developed a strategy deck, and presented recommendations directly to leadership. The goal was simple: sharpen Rapid7's visual identity on social and make sure every post was pulling its weight toward a bigger mission.

By the end of 2023 I was leading a full marketing and design review. We evaluated top and low performers, tracked industry shifts, and brought the team into a conversation about emerging tools, AI among them. It also became an early planning ground for rolling out the brand refresh that was on the horizon.
